WWE: 10 Booking Steps For Cesaro Vs Brock Lesnar At WrestleMania 31

9. Cesaro Dominates 2014

So once Cesaro wins the Intercontinental Champion, he needs to become a fighting champion who takes on all challenges and beats them decisively. It can't be a cheap heel win, and especially not a count out or disqualification victory. In order for Cesaro to be the next "next big thing," he needs to walk a path very similar to Lesnar's back in 2002. At that time, Lesnar would face an opponent, use his near inhuman strength to throw him around like a rag doll, and then finish him off with the F5. I didn't matter who the challenger was; if Lesnar faced him, Lesnar was winning. Cesaro needs to have this domination for 2014. No longer can he afford to have guys smaller and weaker than him squeak by with victories. Cesaro's win over Randy Orton, and his excellent match with John Cena should be just the tip of the iceberg. In fact, a clean win over Cena on pay-per-view would be a big exclamation point on what could be Cesaro's biggest year in professional wrestling. Asking for a clean win over Cena might be borderline fantasy booking, but the end result wouldn't hurt Cena at all. It would only serve to make Cesaro that much more intimidating in the locker room. From now until December 31st, it needs to be Cesaro's year.
