It's no secret that the industry has its share of sordid tales and seedy characters, especially in the olden days of the territory system, with wrestlers living lives akin to rock stars and outlaws rather than professional athletes. When you spend 3/4 of your time on the road, away from home and loved ones, putting your body through punishment night in and night out, it's easy to see how one could stray from the straight and narrow. Who among us hasn't committed an indiscretion in their past that they wish they could permanently erase from the record? The purpose of this article is not to point out all these mistakes, but more so to take a look at the most ridiculous ones, incidences where WWE superstars were arrested for an offense that is either absurd in nature or extremely poorly timed.
