WWE: 10 Superstars Who Ended Up With Surprising Jobs After Wrestling
4. Rico - Security
In looking back at Rico he was actually a decently athletic in-ring worker. His coulourful camp gimmick was also very memorable, and he enjoyed some decent Raw air time back in the early 2000's. Big success was always going to hard to come by though, a ridiculous gimmick can be the kiss of death in an aspiring wrestling career. Rico's was no different. He was released from the WWE in 2004.
Acknowledging his need to make an income outside of wrestling, Rico began training in law enforcement in 2005. His size and athletic experience stood him out as a strong candidate for security roles. This is exactly what he found success in when he graduated from the Boulder City, Nevada Law Enforcement training academy as top of the class.
His main role is now with the Nevada State Taxicab Authority.
"If anything happens with a cab, I'm involved" he told WWE.COM.
