WWE: 10 Superstars Who Could Be The Next Paul Heyman Guy

9. Dean Ambrose

It's a match made in heaven; the Mad Scientist and the Lunatic Fringe. The Leader of the Extreme Revolution and the Outlaw Rebel of the Next Generation. Since his indy days Dean Ambrose has been heir to the hardcore throne apparent - showcasing a 'reckless' style that evokes memories of the innovators of old. With Paul Heyman at his side, Ambrose could become the most dastardly villain in the company - gatecrashing the main event as the anarchic insurgent of the 'Reality Era'. With the talent and popularity of all three members, the inevitable break-up of The Shield is likely to be an explosive event. The recent swerve of Seth Rollins walking out on his team on Raw (only to return) was a reminder that we really don't know how the chips will fall with the Hounds of Justice. But if Roman Reigns is the natural hero, then Dean Ambrose is undoubtably the group's natural villain. What better way to harness that bad guy momentum than have Ambrose ditch his Shield brothers to become the new 'Paul Heyman Guy'? Ambrose has all the tools to do great things in the WWE regardless of a Paul Heyman association, but as the company searchers for performers capable of breaking through to the Main Event, teaming potentially the company's top young antihero with their most distinguished scoundrel would all but guarantee a marquee talent for years to come.
