WWE: 10 Superstars That Retired Before They Were 40

2. Trish Stratus

Trish Stratus When fans think about the greatest female performer in WWE history a lot of them think of the name Trish Stratus before anybody else. Her WWE career began in 2000 as a manager, it ended in 2006 when she retired at age 31 and aside from a few matches on a part time basis, she retired with more Women's Titles than anybody. She was also inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame at the age of 37 in 2013. She accomplished quite a lot in her nearly seven year run. If you look at her main feuds in WWE, she had very memorable rivals in Lita, Mickie James and Victoria among others. It was the best time for women's wrestling in WWE and Stratus was the woman at the forefront. She's the one that carried a lot of the stories in the women's division while developing as a wrestler and putting on entertaining matches along the way. Her influence in the business can't be ignored either. Stratus came from the fitness modeling world. A lot of WWE's current recruiting tactics as it relates to women involves signing models who are obviously physically fit. Stratus helped to set the standard of what WWE wants out of their women. That's why they're always out there looking for the next Trish Stratus. These days, Trish is a married mother of a newborn boy named Max while also maintaining her Stratusphere Yoga business in the Toronto area. Like most Hall of Famers, she could pop up on WWE programming if they ask her although her life got a lot busier with a little one to chase around. It's safe to say her in-ring days are over.
