WWE: 10 Superstars That Prove Wrestling Really Is A Travelling Circus
5. Doink The Clown
No circus or carnival is complete without, you guessed it, clowns. They terrified you when you were young. And they still terrify most of you in adulthood. Just when you thought you could watch something like wrestling and not be bothered with a Bozo or a Pennywise, WWF introduced the world to Doink the Clown. A deranged clown who could use a plethora of tricks to make the audience laugh or to inflict harm and humiliation on his opponents, Doink always proved to be more unsettling in the ring than the most intimidating of wrestlers like The Undertaker or Razor Ramon. Even when he was fighting on the side of good, you still didn't know if you could trust that painted face or the obnoxiously loud attire ... after all, clowns are terrifying in every shape and form. Thus, making the circus a terrifying place to be most times. "Clown" Honorable Mentions: "Joker" Sting, indie wrestler Jeckles the Jester, & Yurple the Clown.
