WWE: 10 Things Vince McMahon Could Do To Get CM Punk Back

7. A New Full Time Offer

We have stated that a part time deal could be a draw for Punk to come back ... but maybe it's a blockbuster full time deal he is looking to leverage. In his video interview with Ariel Helwani last week, Punk didn't really give anything away about renewing his contract in July this year. That could've been because he was doing the smart thing and had his business head on €“ after all, if the company think you want to leave, they will offer you more money to stay. Punk's non-committal comments to Helwani and now this walk out could all be an attempt to send the WWE a message €“ value CM Punk accordingly. Punk will be able to leverage a better deal if the WWE think they are fighting to keep him. If he wants a full time deal then he now stands to get more money for it as WWE are having to fight to keep him. Vince McMahon needs to assess Punk's wants and satisfy them. If the boss was to offer Punk a well-paid full time contract then it could do the job. Ultimately, Punk is like any of us €“ a high-paying full time job is always going to be difficult to turn down.
