5. She's Earned The Reputation Of A Great Wrestler
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DAp-_FTJzu0 In 2013, she wrestled in two of the most acclaimed ladies matches of the year. I've embedded one- her tournament final victory over Emma- above and the other- a title defence against Natalya- can be found
HERE. In both, you'll see an example of both Paige's technical wrestling ability and her in-ring psychology, the second being an art that has gone amiss in some of the most profound technical wrestlers, over the years. The beauty of Paige is that she can work solidly as a babyface or a heel. Her edgy looks and her aggressive in-ring style have, thus far, provided a platform for the hardcore fans of WWE's NXT programme to rally behind her, frequently receiving one of the bigger pops of any given night. Whether such popularity will translate to WWE's core audience remains to be seen. It's interesting enough, then, that Paige's style would more traditionally suit a heel. Paige brings a lot of anger and a slight edge of arrogance to her matches that have only supplemented her ring work thus far and looks to control her matches early- both, again, traits you would usually associate with a heel. It will be interesting to see if she alters her in-ring style to fit her new audience and role but if she does, I have no doubt she'll do it well.
