WWE: 10 Unique Ways To End A Wrestling Match

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IgCQc5N8A3g Once more we journey into the madness that was WCW in the early 2000s. This time we have the Sting/Vampiro rivalry that went on way longer than anyone cared for it to go, and was topped with a Human Torch Match at Great American Bash 2000. Much like the Inferno Match, the goal was to set your opponent on fire in order to win. Why fire? Because it looked really cool of course! Vampire and Sting hated each other so much that they were willing to set each other on fire, and by the end of the match Vampiro had managed to ignite poor Stinger from the top of the arena€™s titantron. The fans and commentators had to look on in horror as a fire coated Sting fell off the tron and crash landed into protective padding below. Of course it wasn€™t really Sting, and a stunt double was used during the actual fire igniting stunt itself. Doesn€™t it seem silly for professional wrestlers to require stunt doubles in order to entertain an audience? Back in those days, WCW was willing to do just about anything in order to get a ratings boost, and even setting people on fire seemed like a viable option at the time.
