When The Nexus first premiered, it was like watching a tornado suddenly hit the arena and lay waste to everyone and everything in its path. Both CM Punk and John Cena had no idea what to expect as The Nexus, lead by Wade Barrett, make their way to ringside and dismantled not just the wrestlers, but the commentators, the announcer, the tables, and even the ring itself. They cut up the mat, pulled off the ropes, bashed up the turnbuckle, and created a disaster zone the likes of which has yet to be duplicated. It was so sudden and so violent that it caught a lot of fans off guard. Once everyone was aware of what was happening, the mayhem and carnage brought an adrenaline rush that made people excited about the product. This was not just a regular ending where John Cena emerges victorious for yet another week. Instead, a group of rookies that the locker room barely took time to glance at brought it upon themselves to make a lasting impression and forever alter their WWE careers. There was no winner or loser in this match because everybody lost to The Nexus. The winds of change blew hard on that Monday night.
