After a harrowing stretcher match between Daniel Bryan and Kane, where the champion wins and recovers from grueling slams on the arena floor, Kane will be down and seemingly out when a faint siren can be heard. Imagine Michael Cole saying, "After a brutal stretcher match like that, we're gonna need an ambulance out here! It's fitting to hear that siren and (seconds later)--wait a minute, It's CESARO! What's he doing out here?" There will likely be a delay before Cesaro's entrance package appears, but he will promptly surface and attack Bryan with a power move onto the stage. He will then pick up the fallen opponent and perform a devastating Neutralizer that will deflate the crowd's relief at Bryan's victory. He will attempt to cash in the briefcase, but as he does, Kane will pull Bryan down and away from the scene. Cesaro will lift his fists to the ceiling and punch to the sky, as WWE Battleground comes to an end in near silence.
