2. Be More Motivated In The Ring

There's a certain expectation of robotic movement and "running through spots" that felt involved in watching Cody Rhodes wrestle. In some ways, that's sometimes the expectation of tag team wrestling, especially in the 6,8,10 or 12-minute match world of World Wrestling Entertainment. However, in having a new character and needing to show a renewed passion and energy as part and parcel of having said new character, Cody Rhodes' level of organic-feeling motivation during his matches has the space to develop. Already, in his debut match in the gimmick, the idea that he's more motivated than even Goldust was prepared to handle is the key storytelling device. Maintaining that level of excited in-ring motivation is a must.
