9. He Got Off To A Terrible Start In WWE
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gEhI4puOOnw Coming in with an unreal amount of hype, Daniel Bryan stepped onto the NXT stage and began to lose to everybody in sight. Losing to a legend like Chris Jericho right off the bat made sense, but then he started losing to the likes of Michael Tarver. By the time Bryan was let go from NXT, he compiled a dreadful record of 0-10. At this point, wrestling fans everywhere were just left to shake their heads at this gross mistreatment. As if that horrible start wasn't enough, he would be shafted the moment his first big break in the WWE appeared. Shortly after the formation of the Nexus, he was released from the company after choking Justin Roberts with a tie on camera. He was left to crawl back to the indies while every smart wrestling fan chalked up Danielson as just another failed WWE project. Bryan would obviously come back not long after, but this initial slump makes his rise to greatness that much more impressive.
