WWE: 10 Wildest Elimination Chamber Moments

5. Unceremonious Exit

chris-jericho2012 Raw Chamber (Please refer to Moment #9 for full video of this event). Something fun is brewing between CM Punk and Chris Jericho. There cannot be a Best In the World AND a Best In the World at What I Do, so their saucy feud begins in the Chamber. Every time Punk (who's 3 months into his record-breaking title reign) passes Jericho's pod, he casts a cocky grin at Y2J. When his pod finally opens, Jericho trades blows with his alleged copycat, gaining the upper hand because he is so fresh. When Punk makes a comeback, Jericho pokes him in the eye and retreats to his pod to hide. Hilarious heel move! They engage in a back-and-forth assault using the pod's doorway to brutal effect. The Chamber is a great place to build tangible venom between foes, with no disqualifications and a variety of opponents to play off of. Jericho submits Kofi in the Walls, and is even so kind to escort Kofi from the Chamber (with a few added blows to reinforce his heel status, and get himself over to the door). As he bids adieu to Kofi, Punk administers a kick to the back of Jericho's head. We almost instantly lose track of what happens next, as the kick knocks Jericho out the door and onto a camera man on the floor. It's the perfect WTF moment on top of a great unexpected move from Punk. They go to a different camera, which shows Jericho in a heap of equipment against the barricade. The referees pronounce him unable to continue in the Chamber, setting in motion Jericho's subsequent campaign to destroy CM Punk.
