WWE: 10 Worst Matches In Royal Rumble History

10. The Bushwhackers vs. The Fabulous Rougeaus (with Jimmy Hart) - 1990

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZsWHP0GnJ0 Comedy matches in wrestling sometimes work, but a lot of time they fail because they tend to run too long. This match, which opened the 1990 Rumble, went brutally long at about 14 minutes and it wasn't very good. The match just kept going and going. It probably should have went about 7 minutes. Instead it went far too long. Of course if you listen to the crowd they were really into it because the product was really hot at the time, but that doesn't mean it was entertaining to watch. Part of it is the Bushwhackers effect. They were never really booked as a serious team in WWE. They were there for comedy, so that's what they did. They also moved really slow, took some bumps that looked awful and just didn't look that impressive offensively. They're the definition of a late 80s/early 90s team that was just there for the kids. As kids they were fine for us. As an adult, I look back and think about how they were not a great team at all.
