WWE: 10 Wrestlemania 30 Matches That Are Seriously Being Discussed

4. Randy Orton Vs CM Punk, WWE Championship

Cm Punk Best The announcement of the Unification match at TLC has thrown a Mania Punk v Orton title bout into question, but it still remains the slight favourite to be the championship match at Wrestlemania 30. The logic is clear. Orton becomes undisputed champion at TLC, Punk wins the Royal Rumble, and we have the classic face chasing down the heel and his gold at Wrestlemania. Given Punk's anti-authority character it also makes big sense that he goes up against the "face of the company". This whole feud could put Punk right back on the level of his 2011 clash with Triple H and the WWE. Punk was at his very best then, and a revitalising start for Punk in 2014 would be huge for business. Punk has often stated that his one remaining career goal is to go on last at Wrestlemania. No doubt he is lobbying to Vince McMahon right now for this to be the case, but even if Punk is the number 1 contender at Mania, there is still a very good chance that the last match would be either Undertaker or John Cena. Several things could still happen regarding the WWE championship. The decision to unify the titles is no doubt giving the creative team various headaches. Whatever happens, the WWE title will mean more than it has in years, this will be a big match whoever is in it.
