8. Miss Elizabeth
Elizabeth Hulette will always be The First Lady of Professional wrestling. As a female manager - no other woman has ever surpassed Miss Elizabeth in the beauty, poise and charisma stakes. She was something else and she added to both the WWE's popularity and glamour stakes. Elizabeth was married to Macho Man Randy Savage for years. She acted as his valet and fans were not to know they were really married. She was caught up in a love triangle of sorts between Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage. Hogan took a protective stance towards Elizabeth and this fuelled Savage's jealousy. This led up to the main event of Wrestlemania 5 between Savage and Hogan with Elizabeth stating she was neutral. She got in the way of both men during the match but Savage ultimately lost his title to Hogan. Savage feuded with Dusty Rhodes and his valet Sapphire. Savage billed himself as The Macho King with 'Queen' Sherri Martel by his side. In Wrestlemania 7, Savage lost a retirement match to the Ultimate Warrior and Sherri started screaming and kicking at him, Elizabeth rushed to his rescue, grabbed Sherri and chucked her out of the ring. The two were united and they got 'married' in what was dubbed 'The Match Made in Heaven' in SummerSlam 1991. Her final angle in the WWE concerned fake photos of Elizabeth getting cosy with Ric Flair. Elizabeth and Randy divorced and that was the end for Miss Elizabeth in the WWE She had a subsequent career in the WCW where she met the delightful Lex Luger. After being released from the WCW, Elizabeth never appeared on TV again but she did accompany Luger on his ride as WWA champion. They were due to get married in 2003 but Elizabeth made a claim of domestic violence against Luger in which he reportedly blackened her eyes and split her lip. Shortly after that, Luger was arrested for driving under the influence. Elizabeth was in the car with him and was sent home in a taxi. On May 1st 2003, Luger made a 911 call to report that Elizabeth wasn't breathing. She did not respond to attempts to revive her and she was pronounced dead at hospital due to severe toxicity involving vodka and painkillers. Elizabeth was only 42 when she died but she will always be fondly remembered as the first female valet to feature both on television and play an important role in story arcs.
