The current Intercontinental Champion is a favorite to win the battle royal because he's a guy that WWE wants to develop into a main eventer over the next couple of years. Due to the fact that he's one of the strongest guys in the match, he's obviously a favorite. In terms of his height he's not that big, but as a power lifter he has the tools that WWE likes in a superstar. What Big E doesn't have going for him right now is momentum. They haven't really given him great opponents for the IC Title since he's won it. How many times does he have to beat Jack Swagger? There are so many heels on the roster doing absolutely right now that could benefit from being a top contender for this title. It's up to WWE to use their talent better. It's disappointing that Langston isn't defending the IC Title at WrestleMania, but that could be because he's going to be booked to win this match. It's certainly possible. He's already talked about how much he wants to win the battle royal during promo on Raw, so it's fair to think he'll make it to the final four in the match and possibly even win it. Big E has a very bright future and is a guy to keep an eye on to win the battle royal.
