WWE: 10 Wrestling Books You Have To Read

9. A Lion's Tale And Undisputed, Chris Jericho

A Lions Tale I have combined these books together, because really they are two volumes of one story. Jericho's life is a fascinating drama. A plucky kid who travelled the world in small wrestling shows, smashed through to the bright lights of television wrestling and forged a successful music career too. It's this kind of varied and eventful happenings that make these books so wildly entertaining. The Canadian is a talented writer, and has published these books separately from the WWE. Despite that independence, there isn't much dirt to be found. Jericho clearly avoids some issues that would have been intriguing for him to shoot on. Still, some of his frustration at being held back by Vince McMahon and Triple H comes through, and his problems with Goldberg are also documented. The book is perhaps best enjoyed for its humorous anecdotes and emotional discussion of Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit.
