WWE: 11 Superstars Who Will Be Shafted Come WrestleMania 30 Returns

1. Alberto Del Rio

Alberto Del Rio Many would argue that Alberto Del Rio is the finest technical wrestler in the entire WWE. In 2013 he got to display his superior talents in consistent main events, dominating the World Title picture. That trend looks set to come screeching to a halt now that the World title is no more, and it's difficult to envision where the usual main eventer fits into the Wrestlemania 30 booking. He will be the biggest casualty of the invasion of former wrestlers back for one night only. Del Rio has grown accustomed to being booked in main events, he is used to the bountiful bonuses, and was booked in the world title main event at Wrestlemania 29. This year, having failed to get over in his main event role at Mania last year, Del Rio seems the likely man to be cut out to make way for returns. He will be bitterly disappointed, and will point to his successive performances in main events as reason he should be featured at the final of the WWE season. It won't be the first time that Del Rio has been viewed as an expendable main eventer at Wrestlemania. He main evented with the World Title at Wrestlemania 27, but was then left off of Wrestlemania 28 due to creative not knowing what to do with him. It looks like it could be the same scenario come Wrestlemania 30. With the likes of Undertaker, Lesnar, Hogan and Batista coming in, the main event role of Alberto Del Rio is beyond vulnerable. In conclusion, this list is rammed with wrestlers who are going to feel a bit hard done by at Wrestlemania 30. Is it right that old talent are able to come in on the back of other people work to take the money making roles? The answer is that the audience dictates who earns the money. The biggest reasons that full time talent are diminished in favour of returning talent is because the paying audience want to see the returns. It's just the way it is, and is the current nature of Wrestlemania as an event.
