WWE: 12 Careers You Won't Believe Stars Did After They Quit Wrestling
4. Dennis Knight: Fancy Food From A Freaky Fella
Dennis Knight traveled the world with WCW and WWF, wrestling under several monikers: Tex Slazenger, Phineas I. Godwinn, Mideon- later Naked Mideon- and the Fake Mankind. Through it all, he maintained the role of "the strange guy" very well, helped out by his long hair, collection of tattoos, and unquie vocal and facial expressions. But after unsuccessfully attempting a comeback with both TNA and WWE, the former European Champion returned to his home in Tampa, FL, and struck up a conversation with the head chef of Café Ponte in Clearwater, eventually securing an apprenticeship at the high-end eatery. (Apparently the chef did not see or read about "Mideon's love affair with a Thanksgiving turkey" back in a November 1999 episode of WWF Smackdown.) After training, he moved on and worked as a chef at the Sandpearl Resort in Clearwater Beach. Currently, he owns and operates Dennis Knight Catering, where he works private parties, one-on-one dates (always fully clothed, I should add) and whatever food challenges may come his way. Knight has talked of auditioning for the Food Network's reality show Food Network Star, and is also penning a screenplay featuring his former leader in The Ministry, The Undertaker. (No word if he writes nude.)
The 'House is a father of two and husband of one in Minnesota. He is an improv comedian, and in his spare time follows WWE, MLB, The Simpsons, and Bob's Burgers. Growing up he was a huge fan of He-Man, and refuses to believe that it was in fact terrible.
