The most recent ex-performer to put the WWEs business on blast, CM Punk used his appearances on Colt Cabanas podcast to take his grievances with the company public, specifically the medical care he received at the hands of WWEs doctor. Punk walked out of the promotion in January after the Royal Rumble for various reasons, not the least of which was the alarming situation he found himself in due to a misdiagnosed staph infection that he alleges the WWE medical team had been brushing off for weeks. He also took to the airwaves to expose what he deems to be unfair business practices, although much of that were personal gripes rather than actual corporate misconduct. Punk is an irritable guy with a hairpin temper and its easy to understand how the relationship between he and the WWE--notorious for their my-way-or-the-highway business practicessoured. Its rare that a talent of such prominence speak out so vehemently against the company where they earned millions of dollars, at least while theyre still at the pinnacle of their career. In that regard, the case of CM Punk Is an anomaly, one that will hopefully usher in some positive change if the complaints he levied are true.
