When the words, "What does everybody want?!" came across the arena speakers in Al Snow's voice during the WWE Attitude Era, it signaled the entrance for Snow and his sidekick, a piece of a department store mannequin known to viewers only as, well, "Head." Snow started this gimmick during his days in ECW. As the story goes, he reportedly found the mannequin head on the street near the ECW Arena in Philadelphia. At the time, Snow was reading about psychology and decided that it would be an interesting character storyline to portray himself as a schizophrenic who would project his personality into the mannequin head. The idea was that Snow had grown disillusioned and was driven to the point of insanity by suffering as a jobber in the WWE for several years (most notably, as Avatar, Shinobi, and Leif Cassidy). The gimmick caught fire and was used successfully as Snow formed the J.O.B. Squad. Snow started to write the words "Help Me" across the forehead of his mannequin in mirrored font, and then he would also do the same on his own forehead. ECW even passed out styrofoam heads to the fans, who would then toss them into the ring during Snow's entrance. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xMbxsy0j6sQ When Snow joined the WWE in 1998, he brought the mannequin head gimmick with him. The act worked well for several years and coincided perfectly with the Attitude Era. If you see Snow wrestle to this day, there is a good chance he will come out with Head in tow.
