8. Austin vs. McMahon
Stone Cold vs. Vince McMahon was the biggest storyline in the history of the WWE, and has the potential to be one of the best storylines in WWE video game history too. The real life Austin/McMahon feud arguably started in September 1997, when Vince received his first Stone Cold Stunner after trying to reason with Austin about his neck injury. The boss vs. employee storyline ran from then until 1999, when Austin finally got rid of McMahon by beating the Undertaker in a First Blood match at Fully Loaded. Thats almost two years of fantastic opportunities to turn real life moments in video game magic. Over the course of this storyline, Vince McMahon tried his best to keep Stone Cold away from the WWE Title. Almost every month over the coming year or two had a huge Stone Cold moment that would be great to replay. In 1998 alone, fans would be able to play through Austin vs. Dude Love (No DQ), Austin vs. Kane (First blood) and onto Breakdown where both Undertaker and Kane pinned Austin for his title. Next, Austin served as guest referee for Undertaker vs. Kane, letting gamers play the part of the guest referee. All of this could be supplemented by the famous moments from Raw, such as the Zamboni incident and Austin holding Vince McMahon hostage. Moving forward, Austin was forced to beat Undertaker Buried Alive, to win a spot in the Royal Rumble, which he did. Next, fans could play the Road to WrestleMania of Austin being screwed in the Rumble, facing Vince in a cage and then the Rock at WrestleMania 15. While the Rattlesnakes journey against Vince to get his title back ended at WrestleMania 15, the feud could continue beyond that, with Austin going up against the Undertaker and the Ministry of Darkness and McMahon being announced as the Higher Power. Austin vs. Vince and Shane in a ladder match would be a great penultimate match, finally leading onto the First Blood match between Undertaker and Austin in which McMahon was finally banned from WWE (for a few months.) All these major moments in the Austin vs. McMahon feud, would make for a long and interesting game storyline, which would include loads of stipulation matches and numerous famous moments in Raw history.
