WWE: 13 Worst Mic Users In Wrestling History

5. Bobby Lashley

Lashley was made into the face of ECW by the brains of WWE, when Paul Heyman was lobbying for a little known guy out of the indies who could talk (and wrestle) the house down by the name of CM Punk. One would think that if you were going to relaunch a new roster and wrestling program, you would want a guy who could cut the odd promo to hype it up. Apparently not. To be honest, if you were going to go through his promos you wouldn't find a great deal wrong with them except he doesn't find ways to get the crowd excited. Part of this is the fact that he doesn't really sound that into it himself, being very, very calm. Not in a uppity heel-Jericho kind of way, nor in a growly exuding-presence-and-respect Undertaker sort of way either. More just like it was nice-to-be-here-and-thanks-for-coming sort of way. This did nothing to legitimise the so-called EXTREME Championship Wrestling re-boot.
