WWE: 13 Worst Mic Users In Wrestling History

1. Jack Swagger

Swagger is on this list because he just doesn't do anything for the crowd: he speaks in a voice that is best described as robotic, with a very boring flow and no real expression. It is a shame, because as a wrestler he was seen by the WWE for a time as the next Kurt Angle, which is why they initially gave him a comedic heel gimmick that was very similar to Angle's first, where his amateur wrestling background was emphasised and his high school demeanour made fun of. Even when he was promoting live on Raw it seemed like he is reading cue cards from someone off camera. It was thought that when he came back with a repackaged angrier xenophobic gimmick that maybe Swagger could actually become a better mic worker. Unfortunately that was soon shown to be a false dawn, with the WWE employing Dutch Mantell as Zeb Colter to act as Swagger's mouthpiece. However, this has opened up new problems as while Colter baits the crowd with insults to draw heat, Swagger stands there dumb. Monster Heels can do that, because they are big enough to intimidate the crowd but Swagger isn't and never will be. If Swagger wants to make his way up the ladder therefore, he needs to work on his promos. Do you agree with this list? Share your comments below.
