WWE: 13 Worst Mic Users In Wrestling History

2. John Laurinaitis

Heels that are in positions of power should be able to talk with authority - when Vince McMahon had the mic in his hand, you knew that he was the authority. When Triple H or Stephanie McMahon speaks now, you know their word is law. When John Laurinaitis spoke during his tenure as GM of Raw however, he exuded all the power of a substitute teacher in a particularly unruly classroom. With that inane croaky voice and the deadpan nature of his delivery it just seemed at times that he could not be bothered actually really getting any real heat from the fans- a problem which became all too obvious after Wrestlemania 28. His alliance with Brock Lesnar was bad enough as he really couldn't generate much in the way of heat for the Next Big Thing, nor was he able to make the feud with John Cena interesting (though the Creative Team have to take some of the rap for this too). When Vince McMahon came back to give him a performance evaluation one couldn't help but feel that the fans were cheering not only because Vince was back on TV, but also because at last someone could show Johnny Ace how to actually entice a crowd.
