11. Hi-Jacking Matches By Chanting Irrelevant Names
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6FjhO3Z6ng Fans get frustrated and want to vent it. That is totally understandable. What is not understandable, is chanting something completely random and irrelevant during a match. A good example can be seen in the video above between Orton and Sheamus. Orton is outright confused and angry - the two are two of the best in-ring performers in the company, and granted hadn't had good booking at the time, but nevertheless give their all week-in week-out to entertain people. Shouting "JBL", "Michael Cole", and "Randy Savage" during Orton and Sheamus' match is downright disrespectful and rude. "We want Bryan" or "CM Punk" would have been great chants to vent your frustration. It shows the WWE who you want to see and who you support. That is a constructive way to use a chant and hijack a show. Ignoring the match you paid to see and chanting in the most non-constructive way names of no relevance is one of the most annoying crowd interactions (or rather non-interactions shall we say) witnessed in recent years.
