WWE: 15 Best (As Themselves) Wrestler Cameos In TV & Movies

2. Jesse "The Body" Ventura - Small Wonder

The Plot: Small Wonder was a show about an inventor named Ted, who created a robot daughter for himself named Vicki, who, being a robot, found herself in all sorts of wacky escapades and situations, usually brought on by her looking like a small girl but having incredible strength. Such was the case when Ted invited his old college friend, Wally, for supper as an apology for teasing Wally for being such a weakling. Little does Ted know that Wally has grown up to become Jesse "The Body" Ventura. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tOjw58qgZA8 There's always one constant in most of these cameos: regardless of how low on the wrestling totem pole the guest star is, the sitcom characters will act like they are the greatest performer in the world. "Hacksaw" was the favourite wrestler of George's son; the Bushwackers were shockingly the number one contenders for a tag team title; and Al Bundy called his fellow Bundy "The King" when he came on his TV. As a further case in point the children in Small Wonder freak the hell out when The Body enters their house. Remember: he was just an announcer at this time, and a heel announcer at that, but they react as if he were a combination of "Stone Cold", Hulk Hogan, and Jesus Christ. But at least Ventura allowed a tiny girl robot to beat him up for the episode.
