WWE: 15 Best (As Themselves) Wrestler Cameos In TV & Movies
14. "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan Vs. Harry And The Hendersons
Plot: In the television series based on the John Lithgow 1987 film Harry and the Hendersons, George asks professional wrestler "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan to be a special judge for a charity wrestling match featuring the masked - and reluctant - "Bigfoot Man." If only video evidence of this episode existed online: not only does this feature Vince McMahon's dream - a real life Sasquatch in a wrestling match - but it also features Hacksaw doing commentary for the charity match, offering his insights on the strengths and weaknesses of both Harry and his opponent, Mad Dog Depew, a non-threatening, bald wrestler in a generic red singlet. It was like a match on WWF Wrestling Challenge: there was no question that the gimmicked-wrestler would be victorious over the most bland wrestler since Terry Gibbs. As an extra note, this marked the final episode of Harry and the Hendersons for Kevin Peter Hall, who also played The Predator in both Predator I & II: the actor beneath the Bigfoot costume passed away from AIDS contracted from a tainted blood transfusion in 1991.
