Its a big joke on the Legends of Wrestling show for Gene Okerlund to dig at Michael Hayes for not yet being in the Hall of Fame. Most likely the only reason for Hayes exclusion from the Hall is due to his status on the WWE creative team. Hayes will most likely not be inducted on his own, but rather as a member of the Freebirds along with Terry Gordy and Buddy Roberts. Their wars with the Von Erichs in WCCW are legendary. With the Von Erichs inducted in 2009, it only makes sense for their biggest antagonists to be inducted as well.
