WWE: 15 Rarest Wrestling Figures Worth An Absolute Fortune

7. AWA Mat Mania (Remco) - $1500

Many wrestling fans are unaware these figures even exist, but the American Wrestling Association wrestling figure line by Remco hit the shelves just before LJN€™s WWF Classic Superstars did in 1985, making them the first ever line of wrestling figures made for sale in the United States. The Remco line of AWA figures were sold only as sets of 2 or 3 figures. This continued for 3 full series releases as well as various special boxed releases until Series 4 in 1986, the final series in the Remco AWA line. Called €œMat Mania,€ this figure line were the only AWA toys sold on single cards and are easily the most valuable. The AWA Mat Mania line included figures of superstars such as Shawn Michaels, Marty Jannetty, and Ric Flair, and loose figures, if they still come with their original accessories, can go for hundreds of dollars, while MOC figures have sold at auction for as much as $1500.
