WWE: 15 Rarest Wrestling Figures Worth An Absolute Fortune

9. Various LJN WWF Wrestling Superstars Black Card Figures ( LJN / Grand Toys Of Canada) - $800-$1130

The LJN 1989 black card re-release Wrestling Superstars figures, mint on card, are considered to be the most valuable wrestling figures among many collectors, and were distributed by Grand Toys of Canada as LJN had just shut down their toy division. This final line of the LJN style figures consisted of 6 new figures and a slew of re-releases, and exactly which advertised figures were actually released on the 1989 black card is still subject to debate now. Though popular and mass-produced, the MOC black card line still fetches some real value (though loose exceptions like Big Boss Man have commanded $100 alone, and $300 complete with accessories- mint it's $800). Each came with a bio card, though many were packaged wrongly with a Hulk Hogan card, prompting some collectors to pay more for the correct card backing. Big Bossman isn€™t the only mid-carder of the time to command prices that high. A Honky Tonk Man black card, with his guitar, MOC has been sold for prices ranging from $600 to $1130, while a Demolition Ax black card, MOC, sold recently for around $900. There are certain figures that were advertised as part of the black card release, that still have not seen the light of day. Whether some truly exist or not is still up in the air, but one such figure that many collectors thought was a myth but has surfaced is the Adrian Adonis Wrestling Superstars €™89 black card re-release, which was ruled a myth as he had left the WWF and died before it was even released.

Matt Binder hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
