WWE: 15 Reasons You Must Respect The Undertaker As The Biggest Legend Ever
Let's give it up for the Deadman!
The Undertaker is the biggest legend ever to compete in a WWE ring. If most fans were asked to name their favourite wrestling match or best wrestling segment from the last two decades, chances are it would involve The Undertaker. Mark Calaway who has played the Deadman over two decades, has taken a seemingly ridiculous gimmick and made it into the most over wrestling character of all time. The versatility and longevity of his act is truly awe inspiring. Since debuting in 1991 he has gone on to win 7 world championships and beat everyone from Hulk Hogan to Shawn Michaels on the big stages. The Deadman is still going strong today, with the talented veteran expected to face the ultra tough Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 30. That event does of course mark Undertaker's biggest legacy as a performer. His Wrestlemania undefeated streak has became the stuff of legend, 21 times he has walked out on the Mania stage, and 21 times he has been a winner. That's some achievement when you think about it, over two decades worth of victories on the biggest show in the wrestling industry. There's so much more to The Undertaker however than just epic matches and winning streaks. For such a dark character there have actually been some tremendously light hearted moments.
