WWE: 15 Wrestling Marvels Who Could Probably Get A Good Match Out Of A Mop

15. Rob Van Dam

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cw-mh6sY9Cc We kick off the list with ECW's own Mr Pay-Per-View, and it's immediately obvious that he has that nickname for a reason. In the late '90s when ECW talent was constantly snatched up by WWE and WCW, RVD's matches were what kept the Philadelphia promotion afloat. He began his career by teaming with Sabu, and his talent was instantly noticeable. When the first ECW pay-per-view Barely Legal went live, Rob competed as a last minute replacement for the absent Chris Candido, and gave a post-match shoot where he voiced his displeasure at being left off of the original card and chosen as a backup "for a guy who can't even lace my boots". Later on, he would take part in a cross promotion with WWE, begin his rivalry with Jerry Lynn and would begin his ECW Television Title reign, which lasted for 700 days and only ended when Van Dam was injured. When the Invasion angle began, RVD was brought in as a member of The Alliance, but would win over the WWE audience with a phenomenal Hardcore match against Jeff Hardy at Invasion. He has never dropped in popularity since, and competed in amazing matches against Hardy, Eddie Guerrero, Brock Lesnar and John Cena. After all this time, he's still The Whole Dam Show.
