WWE: 15 Wrestling Marvels Who Could Probably Get A Good Match Out Of A Mop
13. Lance Storm
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kGwAJhjIFJI Trained in the legendary Hart Dungeon in Calgary, Alberta, Canada (I can't help typing it like that, the urge is ingrained) Lance Storm comes from a fine pedigree. After wrestling in Canada and Japan, he began his American career in Smoky Mountain Wrestling as part of the Thrillseekers with Chris Jericho. Both would later find a home in ECW, where Storm would form the Impact Players with Justin Credible. He would jump ship to WCW in 2000 as a singles wrestler and a Pro Canada heel, where would become the only WCW wrestler in history to hold three championships simultaneously. He would appear in WWE as part of the Invasion storyline, and later on would revisit his Pro Canada angle alongside Christian and Test as the Un-Americans, but would never find the same success there that he did elsewhere, and would compete in his last WWE match against Chris Jericho at One Night Stand in 2005. Today, Lance Storm remains criminally underrated (largely due to Stone Cold Steve Austin chanting "BORING!" during his matches in WWE) but he had a speed and a technical prowess that many just don't possess. He still competes sporadically in the indie scene today, and as his above showcase against Daniel Bryan shows, he's definitely still got it.
Stephen Maher has been a rock star, a bouncer, a banker and a busker on various streets in various countries. He's hung out with Robert Plant, he was at Nelson Mandela's birthday and he's swapped stories with prostitutes and crack addicts. He once performed at a Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras by accident. These days, he passes the time by writing about music, wrestling, games and other forms of nerdery. And he rarely drinks the blood of the innocent.
