WWE: 19 Former Wrestlers Who Had Salaries You Won't Believe
5. Ric Flair, $750,000 In WCW And $500,000 In WWE
Ric Flair consistently made good money in his pro wrestling career. In the late eighties he was making the relatively impressive sum of $750,000. Only the very top WWF guys like Hogan and Savage could match that. He continued to make that sum in the early 90's with WCW and was on the same downside guarantee as his career winded down in the late 90's WCW. As for his wage after jumping to the WWF in 2001, Flair claimed in divorce hearings in 2005 that he was paid $500,000 per a year by the WWE. That sounds about right. Bear in mind that during his heyday he was a top draw and would've made significantly more in extra royalties.
