4. "Walk" (Rob Van Dam) - Pantera
http://youtu.be/kfx80mfzLik For wrestling fans who were also rock and metal fans in the 1990s, ECW was a godsend. A huge chunk of the roster used the biggest hits of the early half of the decade to announce their entrance to the ring, all while pushing the business to new extremes in terms of in-ring product. Rob Van Dam was quite possibly the best representative of the company on both fronts, as he was undoubtedly one of ECW's top three wrestlers during his time there and his theme from 1997-98, Appropriately, Pantera's "Walk" is quite possibly the best metal song of the decade. The two combined to make a memorable combination that to this day sticks in the minds of ECW fans the world over. The song was great in gaining and establishing attention for Van Dam, making it all the easier for him to keep that attention on him once he got in the ring. 3. "Booyaka 619" (Rey Mysterio) - P.O.D.
Rey Mysterio has long embodied a high-impact, high speed, high risk lifestyle that has earned him the adoration of fans the world over and since WrestleMania 22, this version of an earlier theme, this one performed by fellow San Diegans P.O.D., has exemplified Rey's attitude and fast-paced style. The song, debuted live by the band at 'Mania has gone to identify the man better than any theme during his career. P.O.D. is also one of the most successful bands to have ever lent their services to WWE, having reached Gold and Platinum several times in their recording career. The theme, like Mysterio, hasn't necessarily aged well, but the memories associated with both are great.
