WWE: 20 Greatest Stables Of All Time

2. The NWO (WCW)

BeFunkyNWO July 7th was the 17 year anniversary of the forming of the NWO, doesn't that just blow your mind? It seems like just yesterday Hogan was dropping the leg on Macho Man and turning heel. As one of the biggest holy s**t moments in wrestling history, the NWO was born. The originators of cool, The NWO was the ultimate anti hero faction. Formed at The Great American Bash with the biggest heel turn in wrestling history, Hogan turned on us all by joining Hall and Nash. Before they got too big for their own good, The NWO was the coolest group in wrestling. Featuring stars such as Sting, The Macho Man, Curt Hennig, Ted DiBiase, The Giant, Buff Bagwell and Eric Bischoff, the NWO was unstoppable. Constantly battling with the rest of the WCW roster, The NWO left their mark every chance they had. Whether it was spray painting an opponents back or a locker room, when the NWO was in the building, you knew it. It was only a matter of time before the NWO held every major title available. Their demise however, came soon after. The problem with the NWO was that they got too big. Everyone wanted to be a member of the NWO and eventually a riff between the group separated them into two. It then became the NWO Black and White vs The Wolfpack Red and Black. Once this happened it was only a matter of time before both groups imploded entirely. Which for us as fans, really just sucked! I blame Hogan. The coolest stable in wrestling history, the NWO was just too sweeeeeeeeet. Key Members: Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Ted DiBiase, The Giant, Macho Man, Kurt Hennig, Buff Bagwell, Scott Steiner, Rick Rude, Konnan, Eric Bischoff and Miss Elizabeth
