http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lMFyeoVmqcg "Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! He just beat The Game for the WWF Title!" - Jim Ross This is one of the best moments in Raw history. Jericho talked his way into a WWE Title match against Triple H. Hunter was the heel champion that had way too much power and could basically do anything he wants. Jericho ended up having some backup in the match since the Acolytes were out there to try prevent Hunter's buddies from interfering. Jericho got a nearfall when ref Earl Hebner ran down to the ring. Hunter had issues with him in the past, so he wasn't happy about that. Hunter shoved Hebner down, but when he turned around Jericho was able to capitalize with a spinning heel kick and then a Lionsault was good for the cover. Hebner counted faster than usual, but the initial belief was that Jericho (who was in WWE for less than a year by this point) had done it. The fans went crazy for it. Once again it was another loud, sustained pop that didn't go away quickly. Fans were sick of evil HHH, so for him to lose like that they went crazy for it. Jericho's title reign didn't last because it was determined that Hebner's count was too fast, but the moment when Jericho won is one of the loudest crowd reactions you'll ever hear.
