WWE 2000 PPVs From Worst To Best

2. SummerSlam

The Good: SummerSlam 2000 started slowly but really picked up towards the middle, starting with the Steve Blackman versus Shane McMahon Hardcore Championship match. The finish, with Shane taking a stunning bump off the side of the stage set, was incredible. Shane really was fearless. Chris benoit and Chris Jericho had a very good two out of three falls match, albeit one which was a shade inferior to their Backlash and Judgement Day bouts. Stealing the show again were the Hardys, Dudleys and Edge and Christian, who managed to somehow one-up their WrestleMania 2000 thriller in the first ever TLC match. They would pay the price for these matches later on in their careers. The main event was supported by the intriguing Kurt Angle/Stephanie/Triple H love triangle storyline. Unfortunately, Angle suffered a legitimate concussion early in the match and The Game and The People's Champ had to improv. They did very well under the circumstances. The Bad: Have Undertaker and Kane ever had a good match together? Their one here was a washout. X-Pac versus Road Dogg, Tazz versus Jerry Lawler and and the Too Cool/Right to Censor opener were all forgettable. The Rest: Do you think that if they had've known that things like the WWE Network would come into existence that The Kat and Terri would have agreed to wrestle in something called a 'Thong Stinkface' match?
