WWE 2002 PPVs From Worst To Best

8. Judgement day

The Good: Kurt Angle and Edge were the stars of the show again, having a scorching Hair versus Hair match. Later in the show, victor Edge managed to subdue Angle long enough to shave him completely bald. Both men sold it brilliantly. Also delivering on PPV again were Eddie Guerrero and Rob Van Dam who had another in a series of good matches. Triple H and Chris Jericho's Hell in a Cell match was nice and brutal, although the stipulation wasn't really required, since The Game had already won the feud decisively months ago. Aside from that, not a lot to go out of your way to see here. The Bad: Hulk Hogan versus The Undertaker main eventing a WWE PPV in 2002. After Hogan proved to be a ratings disaster, the decision was made to end his WWE Title reign after one month, giving the belt to...The Undertaker, a man who had been having the same worn-out matches for months. The match was awful, as everyone assumed it would be, and featured the lamest chokeslam in wrestling history. The Rest: Dave Batista made his first WWE PPV appearance...as Reverend D-Von's donation box holder (what an awful gimmick that was). And Tim White suffered a career-ending shoulder injury when he was thrown into the cell with excessive force.
