WWE 2K19: 10 Entrances They Must Get Right
1. Finn Balor
The best ring entrance in modern wrestling made a long overdue comeback at SummerSlam 2018, as Finn Balor resurrected his Demon character as a means of completely overwhelming Constable Corbin, mopping the floor with the interim Raw General Manager in just a couple of minutes.
Finn's split personality remains his biggest selling point. With the writers dead set on undermining their "tiny Irishman," the Demon is a surefire crowd-popper that elevates every situation, creating one hell of an atmosphere. The body-paint, the smoke, the red lighting, the heart-pounding extending entrance theme: each element is vitally important, and 2K have to get it right this year.
2K18's Demon was convincing enough, but we know the developers have a better version in them. The smoke effects need work, and it'd be great to see more versions of the Demon represented, from TakeOver: London's Jack the Ripper pastiche to the soulless, monochrome version unleashed at TakeOver: The End. Still, we'd settle for just a single accurate portrayal of the former Universal Champion's alter ego.
As for Balor's bog standard ring entrance? That should be a walk in the park.
