WWE 2K19: 10 Entrances They Must Get Right

3. Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho '00 is the only version of 'The Ayatollah of Rock'n' Rollah' we know we're getting for sure this year. With just 68 characters announced so far, we may yet get the modernised 'Y2J' as well, but who knows? The current IWGP Intercontinental Champion is currently more concerned with moonlighting in New Japan, booking elaborate cruises, and flirting with Impact Wrestling these days. Maybe this is all we'll see of him.

If it is, then several improvements need to be made. 2K18's Chris Jericho '00 was off. This was largely down to a half-arsed character model that looked like it had been thrown together in a couple of hours, but entrance left much to be desired as well, capturing none of the electricity that made old-school Jericho such a captivating performer back in the day.

2K's recreations of 'Y2J's' signature mannerisms didn't hit the mark, and his movements looked stilted. This classic Jericho incarnation walked down the ramp like a broken action figure whose limbs had been glued in place. A shame, as his entrance has always been a big part of his act, and the developers need to get it right this time.
