WWE 2K26: 9 Things You Need To Know

6. Finally, A Major Commentary Update!

WWE 2K26 Commentary
2K Games

Substantial commentary updates have never been a key area of concern for 2K and Visual Concepts. They'll record the odd new line and dub in unique audio if you're digitally recreating a famous match, but it's largely the same as it has been since WWE 2K18: That was the last time the in-game commentary team was updated, with Michael Cole, Corey Graves and Byron Saxton presiding over all action for almost a full decade now.

They all return in WWE 2K26, but they are joined by Wade Barrett and Booker T. Notably, the gameplay trailer featured Cole, Graves, Barrett, and Booker on the call, implying that the game will feature support for 4 and potentially 5 commentators at once, and that we may have the option to assign commentators (as is already possible with referees).

It isn't a game-changing update by any means, but it brings another level of immersion to the series that 2K annually prides itself on, particularly if Wade Barrett and Booker T have recorded a few choice lines when commentating on a match they're also competing in.
