WWE 2K26: 9 Things You Need To Know
7. All Those Small Adjustments
It wouldn't be a 2K release without them, so here are all of the minor tweaks and adjustments made to WWE 2K26 in quickfire form:
- MyGM now offers support for intergender wrestling, as well as 5, 6, and 8-person match types (though the inclusion of WarGames in the mode remains a mystery), as well as more shows per calendar season.
- MyRISE allows the player to continue in the mode even after finishing the core story, which is a returning feature from WWE 2K19.
- MyFACTION, too, features support for intergender matches and lineups, with new "Quick Swap" matches, Faction Chemistry, and run-ins. That all sounds like corporate jargon, but expect to learn more about what it all means in the coming weeks.
- The Island will now be playable on PC, with new quests, brawl areas (including a scrapyard), and the ability to choose from 3 starting factions.
- There are now 200 slots for Create-A-Superstars, as well as the return of body morphing abilities, 2-tone hair colour blending, and support for up to 2,000 image slots on Community Creations.
- Entrances are now interact-able like they were in AEW Fight Forever and earlier games such as the Legends Of Wrestling series.
- The reversals and stamina system has been overhauled, allowing matches to flow more seamlessly.
- Players can now fight on top of the barricade, with the added option of performing moves off the barrier, too.
- There is the option to start the match with a pre-match action, including the already-introduced trading blows and chain wrestling mini-games, as well as offering a handshake and attacking your opponent before the bell has sounded.
- Royal Rumble matches will now offer picture-in-picture entrances.
