WWE: 3 New Storylines For The Second City Saviour - CM Punk

1. A True Heyman Guy

paul heyman Recently on TV during Punk's absence, we have seen the somewhat lackluster debut of one Curtis Axel as a "Paul Heyman Guy." Now, I understand the count out victories are the not the best way to put a guy over, but I also understand the booking committee kind of booked themselves into a corner and with the way they had it booked, those were pretty much the only way you could finish it. Except you know, with a tainted pinfall victory every once in a while. Whatever. Regardless, I think it would be a great way for Punk to return if he got into a feud with the new Heyman guy. Here's the thing: Heyman has taken on Curtis Axel as a client, and Punk and Brock are nowhere to be seen. So Punk can come back and be hacked off at Heyman for "replacing" him with Curtis Axel. Not only does this let Punk have a babyface run, which is always fun to have before he goes back into jerk face heel mode which is even more fun to watch, it would also give a feud where Axel can actually get some wins and be, you know, established as a legitimate threat in the business. Axel comes from a good lineage, and I'm pretty sure that I have seen flashes of brilliance underneath the less than stellar build up behind his new push. The guy can go, and with a mouthpiece like Heyman, a feud with Punk could be exactly what he needs to get going, but more importantly, it's the perfect feud for Punk to get back into the swing of things as it would provide good matches as well as great promos between him and Heyman.
