WWE's 12 Fails Of Christmas

10. Big Show Vs Erick Rowan - Tables, Ladders, Chairs & Stairs 2014

The second December crime for The Big Show on this list, a 'Stairs' match with weakest Wyatt Erick Rowan proved every bit as bad to watch as it sounds on paper.

As well as being an awful match, the risible gimmick was also patronising and stupid, forcing commentators to destroy their own credibility in putting over the severity of a steel stair assault.

It's by no means unreasonable to imagine quite the headache or sore back should either come into contact with a steel staircase of course. However, this being WWE, more is always more, and why tell the truth when so many bigger lies are to hand?!

The most farcical moment discussing the murderous brutality of stairs was during discussion of the weight of the steel, which veered between 200 and 1000lbs depending on Michael Cole's fleeting sanity and how many Mamajuana's JBL had necked off-air.

At 11 minutes long, the match was stretched far far out of the realms of either man’s ability to sell such a ludicrous concept, and failed to deliver on even basement expectations.
