WWE's Emma Begins Injury Rehab
Emma is already on her way back following an injury last weekend.
Emma has only recently returned to WWE following a nine-month absence, but was dealt a cruel twist of fate last week. She suffered a shoulder injury while working a Raw house show in Liverpool, England on 7 May, then later confirmed that she was leaving to tour to head home for tests, with no indication of the injury's significance provided at the time.
Fortunately, it looks as though the injury may not be as severe as first feared. Emma tweeted a status update over the weekend, noting that she has already started work on rehabilitating her shoulder:-
There's still no word on how long the Australian will be absent, and WWE are yet to issue an official update on her status. The fact that she has already started rehab suggests that her latest spell on the sidelines could be a matter of weeks rather than months.
Emma underwent back surgery to correct a ruptured disc last year, and her long, drawn-out repackaging as Emmalina was cancelled in February. This current injury is the latest entry in a rotten string of bad luck, which will hopefully end upon her return.
