1. Break Them Up Too Soon
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cEcCFyKQAdk Everyone knows that regardless of this turn, there will come a day in the relative near future when the Shield will break up. Even the Dudley Boyz broke up eventually. The questions are when and how. The fear is that it will happen at the wrong time. If they break up too soon, it could backfire. WWE seemed to be moving them toward a breakup in recent months before they refocused as a team right around the time the cheers picked up steam. Right now, fans want to cheer the Shield. Let them. As long as they're getting a strong reaction, then there's no reason to blow it up. You want to ride the wave to the top of the crest... and then break them up before you start moving downhill. That will ensure WWE gets the most out of their face run and that their breakup has the most impact. It's a tough thing to time, but this is why Creative is paid the big bucks, right? As for now, everyone should just buckle up and enjoy the ride. Believe that.
